Is there a way to see the recall list per VIN number.

As an owner I'd like to see a list of recalls that affects my VIN number.

As a buyer, I'd want to run the VIN and see what recalls there are and whether they had been completed or not.

PM me your vin and I can run a GMVIS on it. The only 2 recalls that I can remember is the battery cable on the VERY early models and the clamp/hvac/spoiler one.

When GM and/or Chevrolet issues a recall they notify all owners whose cars fall within the VINs affected. If you are talking about TSBs, which I am guessing you are, you can check online or either at your dealership. Chevrolet will not/does not have to notify you about a TSB. What would happen is that you would take your car in form some kind of service, and if your problem is noted in a TSB then they fix it according to the TSB. Pretty simple.

In the case that you are actually refferring to a recall, which there has only been one of so far, I can guess that your car isn't affected. The recall was for cars below (and I'm estimating here as I don't know the exact cut off) A1139??. My car is A111257, within the range, and she was built June 09. Hope this helped.

your service department can check for recalls. if you have a good service department they would let you know when your car has a recall.

That wasn't a recall, just a TSB.

I know this is an old post BUT I HAVE NEVER had a recall notice on my Camaro... my spoiler was falling off when I took it to the dealer.. and they said OHHHHH there is a recall on that....

The loose spoiler problem is a TSB not a recall. Hence you didn't get notified about it.

I have added a link to a list of all the TSBs issued by GM, however the TSBs that are listed do not have all the information.
I could not find a site that list the TSBs and contain the complete TSB info.
