So we think we have a way to add more then one camera on the the touch screen Mylink radios, Will try to test over the week end if it works we can have 3 cameras in the car, "only one at a time" for now,but you can have 2 cameras and a DVD/blue ray or any combo you like.

It will not be a lot of cash to do this mod, if you can solder you can do this, we know there are units out there that can be added for a lot more, that can Bluetooth the date to the unit and in to the screen, this will be a hard wire job for the DIY guy.

P.S if you cant solder we can send you the new wires.

P.S.S. if any one with the 2010 M6 V8 cars that the camera does not work till your moving, this will fix that if it works.

This will be great. I need a front curb camera - my curb-alert has never been 100% reliable and quit altogether recently. I'm assuming there will need to be a switch to select the second camera on the display.

That is good work, but i am working on adding more then the front camera it will have up to 3 inputs so you can run a DVD if you like.

Did you get this working, Ofer? I was trying to do this (add switchable front camera) after installing the Mylink upgrade a few months ago. Only one Camaro5 user seems to have figured out how to get the Mylink camera to turn on without being in reverse in this thread:

64stingray added it to his ZL1, but I couldn't figure out how to duplicate his method on a v6.

It's easy enough to add video inputs to other aftermarket headunits since they have switchable video signal, but the issue is Mylink.

When I tried it, I hooked up a front camera and can get it to show up on either my rearview mirror or Mylink with switches, but only if car is in R. If you've figured out an easy way to get the Mylink screen to show a video feed at the flip of a switch without being in REVERSE (or by faking a reverse signal), that'd be awesome and all I'd need. I already have a video amplifier unit with 2in/6out (too many outputs, but should work too)

Would be good if you could set it up to record while your driving, for insurance purposes.
