Preferred Paintshop

Hey all,

Curious to hear if there's a preferred paintshop in the Seattle area? Looking to have some GFX painted and mounted. Historically have done most of my own work but would rather just leave it all to a reputable shop.

I had my custom paint job done at Sumner Collision Center. The installed & painted a new SLP hood for me, repainted a blotched paint job on my fenders & doors that another shop done. They also did the custom striping, bowties & my engine cover. They are right across the street from Sunset Chevrolet. Their phone number is 253-863-3859. Ask for Kevin. I would NOT recommend Kustom Collision & Rods in Marysville.

So then there was no reason to bring him up. I understand that you are not happy with the work that he did on your car I really do. If somebody were to ask you what kind of work he does I would totally understand you stating your opinion and would not say a word about it. I wish that you would respect my feelings due to the fact that he is a friend of mine and has given me two award winning paint jobs, and not say anything that was unprovoked such as this thread.

The only thing I said was that Sumner repaired a "blotched" job for me. That is not a testamonial to what happened to my car in the first place. I am happy for you that you got a wonderful paint job on both of your cars by Kustom and that you have won awards. You deserve them. What I listed in my post is the good things that Sumner collision has done for me. They installed a new hood, did custom striping, painted my engine cover & bowties. They repainted the areas that needed to be repainted. They did a good job and were very professional. They treated me repected. I am sorry that I have offended you and your friend but I still stand by my opinion of not recommending his shop.
