Is the Pirelli P-Zero my only option???

Please help, I need to get new tires, again..., because the Pirelli P-Zero are basically crap compared to other tires I have had on other cars, etc. After doing lots of research and so on, the only all season I can find for the 2010 LT 19" option (245/50 19) are the Pirelli P-Zeros. But they run out of tread for me in about 19-20k miles, and once the tread is about half gone, i start getting vibrations and stuff. These tires are crap! I found a well respected Cooper tire in that size (the ZEON RS3-A) but it turns out they don't support the proper load capacity, needs to be W104 if I remember correctly.

Please let me know if any of you have found other, better quality tires for stock 19" rims. Thanks!

Check tire rack sticky on the top of the page. Should be a couple other choices listed in that size.

Your only getting 19 -20K miles? Most of us (with the 2lt's) are getting at least 30 - 40 K miles, I've got 32 K on mine now and still got more to go.

Mine are toast at 27000, and that is with two winters not using the Pirellis since I got snow tires.

A lot of the 19" options on TireRack that are listed for the Camaro are 'sport truck' or 'crossover/suv' tires. That terminology concerns me that those options will not be the best in terms of performance or comfort.

I mainly want good treadwear without sacrificing too much performance. Oh yeah, and I would like to go wider on the stock 19" wheels.

Aggressive driving/having fun and the P-Zeros are toast by 10 - 15K. My rear tires were bald at 8K, but I enjoy a nice burnout now and then.

It is a Camaro and the tires should be abused now and then

Mine are still very good for tread at 30k miles. I'm also happy with their performance....where I would buy them again. I haven't had vibration issues or such. Only thing I'm noticing is a little slippage when cornering on wet pavement.

I too would like to go up a size on the stock 19" rims. I was thinking a 255 tire, but having trouble narrowing it down to a good one that isn't stupid expensive.

Haha I like the way you think. You should get sway bars and take a few fast corners too!
