I debadged the Camaro lettering and the ZL1 emblems on the hood. I personally like the "cleaner" look it gives the car. I also accented my car in black and for me the chrome badging stuck out like a sore thumb so it was either paint or remove.

I debadged the CAMARO on the sides and never looked back, kept the ZL1 on the hood and bowties..

I debadged the car totally the day I brought it home, I much prefer the cleaner look and today I waxed the car with absolutely nothing to wax around. My son bought a new Jeep at the same time I bought my 1LE, after he watched me debadge the Camaro he used the heat gun to do the same to his Jeep.

I like the cleaner look, to each their own.

i like the Camaro lettering personally, If anything black them out. I really like the blackout look, but that's just my opinion.

I did the same w/ my SS. but our cars are black, so plasti dipping the "Camaro" on the quarter panels is slightly pointless, in my own opinion. Any other color though, that'd look sharp. Debadged FTW!

I didn't debadge, but instead went with RPI Designs and had all my bow ties, bezels and fender badges painted to exactly match my body color. Will be doing the exact same thing on the ZL1 now too.
