I see a ZL1 being up for sale. The only reason I never got a challenger was the power compared to the Camaro and Mustang. Looks like that is getting corrected.

How about a factory race series between the big three with these cars.
I have liked the styling of the Challenger from the get go. I suppose if I thought they were never going to have brought back the Camaro I might have gone with Challenger. What's really on my mind is this a sendoff for the current Challenger? I've got no problem with keeping a model design for 10 yrs, but the way the industry is, we know a new Rustang is coming out and a new Camaro too, you have to imagine they'll do a new Challenger before too long.

I sat in an SRT8 Challenger and it was pretty nice but it was also pretty huge. And here I thought our Camaros were big cars.

A supercharged version of the Challenger? Holy hell, this thing is going to be north of $65k. A loaded 392 SRT8 Challenger already runs you around $52-53k. Too much $$$ if you ask me.

Considering that the present 392 Challenger with only 470 hp in automatic form has run as quick as 12:20s in the 1/4, this car is going to be an absolute beast for straight line adventures . It will be interesting to see where pricing falls but I would expect mid 50s.

Only dodge I will or have ever owned is a Viper. Thats not really a dodge.
Adding the S/C to the Challenger is going to add even more weight. They better add some changes for weight or they car will weigh over 4300 lbs.

Since there will probably not be a 2016 ZL1 (new Camaro platform) and there has been no mention of a Shelby on the new Mustang platform, the Challenger could be alone atop the pony car heap for that year at least.
