Sure doesn't sound like I'm alone by most of the responses... IOM is ok, but it's no hugger orange...

In terms of the big 3 and the greens I'd rank:
1st - Synergy Green 2nd - Green with Envy 3rd - Got To Have It Green Ford's just seems pale to the other two.

This Blue is just flipping BEAUTIFUL, since you can't get Synergy Green this is probably the only color I would trade mine for. This Blue with White stripes and Chrome wheels, OH DAMN. Build it and we will BUY.......

As much as I love Synergy Green I don't see it working as well as it does with another car as its canvas.
I've seen - Dodge Neon - Ford Explorer - Gen 3 Camaro - Gen 4 Camaro - Ford Mustang Cobra - 18 wheeler unsure of make - Honda Civic - C6 Corvette - A Classic Car but I can't remember which None of these pulled it off like a 5th Gen Camaro Out of those the Chevys pulled it off best and the 18 wheeler but with that it just seen too much SGM and it would have benefited from a contrasting color.

I'm totally satisfied with my Carbon Flash Metallic. That was the final tipping point in getting me to buy a Camaro. I could have done without the 45th markings and the partial red stripe. I just loved the subtle beauty of the metallic black.

IOM is better then hugger imo. A buddy of mine has a 69 firebird in hugger orange and I find it flat looking. The iom has more depth and just looks better on these camaro's. All the hugger or grabber colors have is how bright they are. IOM has that metallic effect which sets it off nicely in the sun and under the lights at night.

I don't really have a problem with the Camaro color options. I associate less color options with sport cars and luxury vehicles. I expect high volume sedans, sport utility vehicles to have far more color options. I haven't browsed Ford's color options for the Mustang, but based on commercials and the Mustangs I've seen on the road, it appears to have more color options.
Inferno Orange is my favorite color and I don't see how it differs much at all from Hugger Orange. My wife can probably help me point out the difference. My only drawback with the Camaro color options is the lack of a lighter blue color, something similar to Laguna Blue. Chevy has to give us Laguna Blue on the Camaro, please! |

I have always fancied in my mind a pearl white camaro. It may just be me, but I love pearly-metallic colors. Even though this is fake, like this...

Mustangs need to bring back the two toned. My first car in '89 was an '89 Mustang GT in Cabernet red w/ silver ground effects and a bright red wrap around stripe.

Blue Ray Metallic should be replaced with something closer to Kinetic Blue and they need to bring back Carbon Flash Metallic.
