Clutch Issues?

Hello, first post here.. Have a 2013 ZL1 and since day one the clutch seems to have a "chatter" when taking off from a dead stop. Upshifting, down shifting no issues but from a dead stop seems to chatter. Now have 1800 miles.

Just sold my 2011 SS M6 and the clutch never felt like this. Are the two clutches different?

Just painted the rear deck, installed Rotofab, Moroso CC and getting ready to dig deep however; want to make sure the clutch issue is a non issue before I get to crazy and try to get warranty repairs. Thanks.

The ZL1 has a twin disk clutch, from the ZR1. The SS has a standard single disk clutch.

Mine had the same chatter taking off. After I added 140RWHP and 120RWTQ the chatter disappeared. That was the first thing I noticed when I drove the car after mods, you barely touch the throttle when you take off and no chatter!!

Glad to hear others have it as well, must be something with the dual disc. Thanks for the replies.

...I just notice what appears to be an interferance issue when fully depressing ths clutch pedal to the fire wall, as in a clunk, like a metal to metal contact noise.
