I was drifting at the "American indoor carting" racetrack on Sunday. It was a blast.

strait axle cars are better for it!

Yep engine parts as well. Drifting isnt done at low rpms. You will abuse the crap out of the car.

I suggest getting a car that you don't really LIKE (riceeee) to drift in. When I was living in Japan I remember seeing drift cars and they looked like butt. Those cars get thrashed and...yeah why would you do that to a beautiful Camaro!?!?!?!

putting bolt ons, lowering, suspension, and using forced induction to increase horse power and aerodynamics can put you in a wreck, or in traffic court. Why would you want to do that to your car?

like i said WET conditions are best!
IE safer....and easier on the car

it is fun last car i did it in much was a stang. but fun YUPERS!

it can be done on gravel roads with a truck as well.that is how i learned...

i would assume i would be practicing in a wide empty space around cones.......the only wreck I'd assume happening then would be a rollover....but i dont see that as likely with torque being there. Losing control, yes, wrecking in an empty area......or guess I am wondering, what kind of wreck are you referring too?
