Weekly gathering at Cunningham Park in Queens, New York - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if those of you who live in Queens might be interested in our weekly car get together at Cunningham Park. Every Thursday starting at 6, a large group from the Corvette Forum.com, LS1GTO.com and a few other forums gather in the park's southern parking lot and just hang out to talk car talk. It's alot of fun. It's mostly Corvettes, GTOs and Mustangs but we do get exotics and classics and the occassional import that shows up.

It would be great if we can get the new Camaro owners to come join us and add to our growing list of guys and gals. We usually stay till 8 or 9, or later during the warm summer months.

Time: 6:00 pm

Date: Every Thursday

Place: Cunningham Park south parking lot, Queens, NY

Directions: you can use this map if you've never been there:

the entrance is on Francis Lewis Blvd, that road goes into the park, just follow it until you see a big parking lot, you can't miss us. On the map, it looks like a half circle that ends at the Grand Central, right above exit 20B. If you end up on the Grand Central, you've gone too far.

I am in Lake Success a lot and would shoot over there on occassion when I finally get my car.

Definitely not!! We've been doing this for years and they've never bothered us. In fact, they stop by and chat with us all the time and check out the cars. We've haven't gotten them to do a burnout yet.

I would like to bring new camaro out there. Well by that time it wont be so new anymore. But I'll still like to check it out. Count me in !!
