Why do you leave your car stock?
I have modded the crap out of mine and I see others in my town and on the forum who have done nothing to them. Why?

not everybody is a racer . Some people like them the way they come fron the factory. My mom purchased a brand new camaro and never did any mods to it. Some people buy them because they have to buy something to get to work and could care less and do not even clean them ever. We are different !

Because it their choice. Why did you buy the color you did. I don't understand why anyone would buy anything other than Inferno Orange. Get the point?

Why would you put Lambo doors on this car? It makes no sense, since everybody is putting them on theirs. But I guess you like the ricer look.

Warranty, and I find small pieces of the car, including sensors, tend to last way longer when the car is not modded. I must have blown 10 O2 sensors in my Trailblazer SS after CAI, exhaust and 3 separate tunes from different vendors (after blowing the first 5 sensors with one tune). It ran very fast for low mods, but it just wasn't at all worth it in the end. Seems like you always have to depend on getting "a good tune" and hope you actually do.

Bought the 45TH to be different than most Camaros...no desire to mod or race, just enjoy it the way it was built.

Quote:
In the aftermarket world, you're lucky if you reach 6% of the owners of a particular vehicle. So if Camaro5 has 20%-25% of owners posting or lurking, less than 50% of those enthusiasts are going bother modding their car beyond floor mats or seat belt pads, the remaining will mod based on personal taste, budget and/or timing. In a best case scenario, that's about 10% of the market... and as most wholesale distributors and manufacturers that sell products for both Camaro and Mustang will tell you, Mustang owners are likely to spend twice as much on their vehicles (accessory wise). The few exception that come to mind are headers as of recent with smaller niche brands. As exciting as our cars are to us, remember there are at least 3 times as many Camaro owners that think they are just "A to B" transportation.
