Guess what? Autocross in the rain again. My best time was a 55.366. Top 3 behind Chris in berkin and Gus in one of his Miatas.

Anything going on this up coming weekend? I am flying in from Ohio for the weekend then back to work. Never been but wanting to do something even if it's a Sunday drive..

Some of us may gather at the A&W on Saratoga near S. Staples around 8-9pm or so. I'll probably be there. No special events that I know of.

How's it going?? Just thought I'd introduce my self. Friends call me J, I've had my project Camaro for a little over a year now. Still a work in progress but is a daily driver. So I've noticed the mustangs in Corpus have a big group, how's the camaro scene? Is there anything official or is it just a meet every so often? Any plans on making a Camaro group? Just curious.

As far as us on this site we are just all friends and meet up and help each other work on each others cars. Most of us race AutoX on the 1st weekend of every month in the Bluff. But we are not a club. There are a lot of Camaros in CC though but no official groups I know of. The valley has a group and SA.

I see, is it all newer Camaros? Can't say I'm great at any one thing as far as working on cars. I reupholstered my interior. Da'd and primed my car. Redid most of the electrical to get my hideaways working. I have access to blasting machines. Really close friends with a few shops in town. Just some info on me. You guys mind if I show up one day? Add an old car to the mix?? Definitely not a racer, cars all original numbers matching 327. Sorry if I'm asking too many questions. I've talked to the Camaro group in Sa they seem cool.

We would love to meet you man. We have some knowledge about cars amongst us also but not a WHOLE lot. We have access to a lift also.

Hey J. Just keep looking at the thread. It just depends if we are free to hang out. Work keeps us busy. We usually don't plan anything except autoX. Sometimes we meet at A&W on Saturday.
Like Jerry said, we're just good friends that love cars.

Welcome J. We'd love to meet you. Like Jerry and Ray said we don't have an official club. We find the politics of that to much. We are getting together at Jerry's next week to do a rear end swap,clutch and some suspension work. Not sure what your schedule is like but shoot jerry a PM and he'll give you the details and secret password. Also we don't discriminate based on car preference,model or year. We'll not to much. Right Jason?

Welcome Js67RS! I'd love to see your Camaro. I had a '69 that I did a lot of the restoration work on. Unfortunately, I had to sell it and had a few lean years after that. I retired in 2012 and bought a 2013 Camaro. I also have my '79 Z/28 that I bought new.
