Opinion on which stripe to go with on my SS ?
So im ready for my 2010 Camaro SS2/Rs to come in after the Holidays
This is a Car that will be my Daily driver and not only will it be a daily driver/toy but its going to be a Car that will hold me over during the week until I can Drive my baby. I got a 1969 SS 396 Camaro Daytona Yellow with the Black Hockey stripes and Rear Blackout . I can't drive my 69 daily ( well I could but its not something I want to risk with parkinglots full of idiots and losing value to my car doing so ) So im buying the next best thing. a NEW 2010 Camaro SS Its going to Be Rally Yellow with black Hockey stripes and a rear deck blackout sticker/decal simular to my 69. If I cant drive one lets build one like it that I can drive with todays technology As you can see below my Camaro has a Rear black out that came on bigblock cars back in 1969. I'm not going with the Factory style Hockey stripes on my 2010 instead I have had some made simular to the ones on my 69. Now all I got to do is pick the stripe that will go on the back of my car. I like the top stripe which kind of resemblems the one on my 69 however around the taillights the decal doesnt cover the yellow paint. And the Bottom stripe is one we all know because most of us on here have used it on your own cars. Which one of these rear deck blackouts would yall use on a Yellow car with black hockey stripes ? No hood or trunk decal just Hockey stripes. or |

I've got the stripe combo you're talking about on my Aqua Blue RS/SS. I'll post some pictures a little later when I'm at the computer with said pictures on it.

Here are those pictures. Kind of hard to see the combo since the hockey sticks don't go all the way back, so I'm posting two views.
I think if you want to truly emulate the '69's tail and don't mind painting it, the full blackout is better. However, I think the way I did mine fits the rear of the 2010 better, while still incorporating the original design.

That rear blackout is awesome. It completely blacks out the trunk panel including the area around the tail lights. This is a must have imo. Ill be doing this on mine. See post #3
