Buy a used Camaro sight unseeen?

I finally found the exact combo in a Camaro that I want but it's on the other side of the country!!!

My credit union rarely finances out of state vehicle purchases but said they'd consider this one because it's exactly what I want.

I'm in Texas and the vehicle is in Delaware. It's a 2011 2SS/RS Synergy Green with charcoal interior and NO SUNROOF!! It has the black stripes as well and only has 7K miles on it.

It was bought new from the same family of dealerships and was traded in there for a Ford SUV.

They can ship the Camaro for around $900 he told me.

I asked and the salesman assured me that there is NO dings, dents, scratches etc. He said there is only 7K miles worth of wear on the driver seat.

I do not want to fly all the way to Delaware and drive it back. Would you buy it without seeing it?

No. Id ask a delaware member to go see it. Return manu photos of it and offer to pay them for their effort and time. Have them fire it up and inspect it well fir leaks and such.

Don't spend the 900 to have it shipped...go look at it yourself ($900 why not?)...test drive it, etc...its hard enough to find all the glitches, etc. even with looking at it!!!
...but sight un-seen...no way..

Exactly what I was thinking. Be sure to really go over everything as well in terms of legitimacy of the seller (hopefully its a dealership) to make sure you don't get scammed.

Looks like the dealership is Porter Ford (also Porter Chevrolet) in Wilimington.

Definitely do not buy until someone you trust, or yourself, sees it

fly up there and drive it back. well, fly up there and if you buy it, find a clear bra installer to install a clear bra, then drive it back. assuming you like it. otherwise buy a plane ticket back. call an airline about it, they may work with you on the price. while you're up there go site seeing in DC or something, just so if you don't get the car it ain't a wasted trip.

austin to baltimore is only like $150 each way on american...

if they really want the deal closed than they should eat the shipping fees

I called and tried to lowball him. They're asking $31,995 and I said I'd give him $30K WITH the shipping included and he said he couldn't do it.

I might have to walk away from this one.

I REALLY want Synergy Green but also really want a Summit White
