What exactly is it doing? Does it crank for a while before it starts? Probably not one of those if thats the case.
Chances are those items are not covered under warranty after 36k, but depending on the dealer, they may help you out. If you determine it is an electrical issue with one of those, you can take it to the dealer for diag (probably around $100), and they can give you a quote. - Jeremy |

So it's turning over but takes a few revolutions for the car to start? Probably not electrical in nature.

Could be, pull em and take a look. I pay about 10 a peice for mine. Could still be a ton of other things though. Wouldn't be covered under warranty. If there's a problem with your fuel it could be though.

Are they slow revolutions that pick up just prior to starting? If so, with the onset of cold weather I wouldn't be surprised if it weren't your battery getting weak.

The only thing that wouldn't be covered under some sort of warranty would be the spark plugs. Those are a maintenance item and would have to be taken care of by the customer but the battery and the starter should be covered under the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty or the 5 year 100,000 mile warranty respectively. I hope it's not a serious issue for you panda. Let us know if you take the vehicle in or figure this one out on your own.

ill have to wait to i get back to miami. when i get back im getting a battery and alternator test done and ill check the plugs. before i took my car in it was low on fuel..really low...realllllly low but when i got out i filled her up with 93 so i doubt fuel would be the issue. Shell 93 too!

check the battery, do not sart the car before you do it. At the same time check the cables coming off the battery. Clean as nessessary. If all that is good, then go to starter, check for corosion on cable ends, replace as needed. If end are good then you can replace the starter. have fun

Well I doubt its the battery because the fact that the battery voltage without being started is 11.0-12.0 and when the car is on and running its 13-15. But I will check the battery. Cables and such.
