Super Chiller report

Here's an initial report from my new super chiller.

On the road at 70 mph: ICWT= 75*F with chiller and cabin air on. With chiller only temp was 59*F. Tracy tells me that IAT's are 22 degrees higher than that ( 81*F total ).

On the track with the chiller only= started at 72*F and finished the run at 98*F. Add to that the 22 degrees Tracy tells me about. Tonight I only had the temp gauge to get info from.. This friday, Tyler will be there with the computer and we'll be able to log real time IAT's. Every time, on the way back after the race, temps would drop back to 65 to 70*F degrees in the 3 minutes it took to get my time slip and get back to the pits. The car was an 11.2 car all night long with 120 mph. I made 7 passes

Sounds good on the hwy, but I can't rap my head around the city sound, don't like the accelaration, not mellow enough. To me, it sounds like a hole in the muffler. But other than that, I'm fine. Will make up my mind after i hear Kevin's.

Just trying to understand- its too loud/aggressive? If that's the case, mines gonna be even worse (or better for my taste) with the magnaflow comp cat-back...

Doug and Tony are scheduled for next week, if you really want the hi-flow cats, maybe you can check w them and Extreme, and see if they'll order one set with cats and just swap the cats/no cats between the cars, should still he part of the package deal and cheaper than buying them outright... hell, that should be easy enough that I'm sure we could even do it and save the labor...

Not trying to speak for anyone, but just a thought.

Baby... We can get you the Cats no problem. I will have to change the tune and turn the rear 02 sensors back on and verify the fuel trims after if this is done though. I can't swap them out for the catless pipes because there is price difference between the cat and no cat setup. Call Adam and get it set-up if you would like. I agree the lug sound on the street with no Cat is kinda of tinny (If thats a word haha). Its just the way the air flows through those delete pipes to the factory center resinator. Glad you like it though a STRONG car for sure.
