You know you could try to be "inclusive" of all generations:

1. Show three people (musicians), driving in their generation of camaro, each playing their own music or generation of music
2. They all come to a four-way intersection and at the "4th" spot in the intersection is the NEW 2010 Camaro, blacked out and without it's own "tune"
3. As the different music styles start to blend in the background, the other drivers get out of their cars and start walking towards the NEW 5th Gen.
4. The 5th Gen door opens and out steps.....a big name musician...someone who has been crossing Generational lines, is a known car fanatic, etc....
5. And now the background music volume comes up and .....

You get the picture (I hope). I know that Kid Rock has done cross-genre music: rock/rap/country.....but isn't he a "ford" person?

I'm sure some Marketing "master" could refine this to be truly bitchin....hey that is an idea!! "Bitchin Camaro" by The Dead Milkmen

Ummm, The Beatles are widely regarded as the founders of modern rock n roll, the most influential band in history, one of the highest grossing bands in history, and an icon of the world music stage.

How exactly would that legacy be one the Camaro wouldn't want associated with it?

Unfortunately I believe that most of The Beatles' songs' copyrights are owned by someone other than the remaining Beatles and thus it might be hard to get permission to use "Get Back". I'm not sure that's the one Beatles song I'd like to see used though, I'd have to think on it more.

Regardless, I think we're far more likely to see a commercial with some generic music in the background as a narrator extols the virtues and MPG rating of the V6.

I think it would be better to appeal to more than *just* the damn baby boomers.
(sorry for the language but it sucks living in the shadow of the most spoiled, self-centered and numerous generation in the history of this country)

I would love to have Back in Black cranked out and show a Black 1969 transform into the 2010. When the driver checks his rear view you see a Mustang fading out.

madhatter99 seriously i could careless what the beatles are regarded as there music does NOT fit with CAMAROS image! I mean come on Garth Brooks is the number one selling artist of all time but you wouldn't use his music either! Thats not the debate , so please leave the stats about how supposedly great the beatles are out of this discussion before it turns into a flame war. This is about what song or music would fit the Camaro commercial
