V6 Manual Transmission Problem?
Iv read a couple of posts talking about the V6 Manual being delayed because of transmission problems. And if you look at the vin tracker there is only 3 Manual V6's...Do we have any confirmation of any issues and how long it will take to resolve this?

I doubt we will get any "official" clarification on this. It seems pretty clear to me that there is a problem with the V6 manual transmission. The sheer number of orders for these that have had their TPW pushed back is a clear indication. Couple that with the fact that we haven't seen any V6 M6 out there should remove doubt of a problem.

Well it would be nice if GM would let us know what is going on with our orders. Is there anyone that has any more information on the V6 tranny?

i think the assembly plant should make a daily press release, and tell us everything that they decided to put on hold that day, everyday.

Apparently the plant is a week or 2 behind, not sure how accurate that is. but im hoping my revised TPW includes that little 2 week behind thing as well. If not, well then it will be a while away before im a happy camper!

Although this seems to be the case for some, it's not for all. Some folks that were pulled on the same day as me have already gone 3300 ahead of schedule while I'm still at 3000. They were told it could be built this week, which a week ahead of schedule. I on the other hand may still have to wait until next week

This is why I don't really consider buying the first model year of any car. Launching a new product is a difficult process. There will be bugs to be worked out, regardless of the model, manufacturer, or country of origin. My Camaro will be a MY 2011 or 2012.

My manual v6 is #117, built I beleive on day one, but still no word on what's going on. They tell me maybe I'll get it in early May, I assume they are waiting for new parts to retro fit my car before it's released.
