Found a 2000 ws6 with 15000 miles on it. Some susp mods and a cam, etc. guy is firm on 18000.....

And the other guy on the 01 ws6 with 27000, bone stock, is firm on 17,500.

LOL.

I offered 15.5k to both owners, not trying to lowball anybody. Just looking for a reasonable seller.....

Back to the drawing board.

Thanks Revo.

Don't really want one that modded. I like doing the mods myself if I can. Plus I am really leaning ws6.

I think the saga maybe over....

After offering book value on 6 different cars where the owners were asking over book, I may have a winner... Should know soon.

What a CF

I've got mine up for sale if you are interested. Engine is mostly stock with the exception of long tube headers as the only major mod. The rest of the mods are suspension.

Have you ever driven a manual? It's a blast rowing through your own gears. If you change your mind let me know! I know that a manual is not for everyone but after having an automatic Iroc-Z and then a manual SS the manual is just way more fun to drive for me. But as I said I understand a manual is not for everyone.
Good luck with your search. Let me know if you change your mind.

Was going to buy a 2000 ws6 with 44k. a full line Chevy Dealer told me car was mint..

(Tires had 5k miles left maybe, chrome flaking off all 4 wheels in large chunks, rear speakers blown, door panels cracked, headlight motor issue....)

Where I come from, that's not mint. And he was firm on 15000....... Wouldn't budge an inch after the issues were discovered...

This 4th gen search is wearing me thin.

the headlight issue in the TA's is just a cheap plastic gear that breaks, its common. you can replace the plastic gear with a metal one and then that issue never happens again. all 4th gens have the door panel issue, its a design flaw.

If you really want an automatic 4th gen that is clean and nice I would suggest contacting the guy with this one and waiting a little longer for the fall to get here.

Have you looked in the 4th gen marketplace section yet?

Also you should check out a few of the other message board for sale sections.

The door panel only affects Firebirds. There is also a way to prevent it and/or repair it: http://ls1tech.com/forums/pontiac-fi...ont-quote-pics.

Speaking of LS1tech, there are often really clean cars there -- it's not just ragged on stuff from high schooler's.

I have been on ls1 tech. A few good cars there. But sent pm's and no response. Don't want to go more than a state or 2 from MN, unless the price makes it worthwhile.

heading out to look at an 01 ws6 with 24000 now.
