Very cool let's see if the winner will also pick up the Z/28 I could not tell if that was Rick Hendrick who won it or not.

For those who say the car is ugly you have to see one in person to really respect that car it's a piece of ART.

Unfortunately, The type of people that troll this post to spew negativity are incapable of respect. Given the significance of this car and the cause it represents it would be nice if all us car guys just applaud this badass car and these badass warriors!

Ok start a new cruise-in get together at several different venues in your area. Get some local business owners to sponsor parking lots with any donations going to the wounded warrior program. Now to have fun with the rivialry only have 2 awards to be given out. They will be the ugliest Mustang and Camaro award.

Stop whining. For the record I'm a lifer, US Army active duty stationed at Ft. Stewart, GA and my comments had absolutely 0 to do with the wounded warriors. But you'd rather run your mouth and make assumptions about me. No worries, bro.
The car is still hideous. Don't like that, oh well.

Yes it was Rick Hendrick that won both the COPO and the Z/28 which is a cool 1.6 million or better for charity. Nothing but class man.

Rick Hendrick bought it ?
Because they kept showing him onscreen and another bidder in the back of the room and when the bidding finished they said the guy in the back bought it. I've found several stories online saying Hendrick bought the Z/28, but none that name the buyer of the COPO |
