Has anyone seen this custom built audio system?!?!? Video Inside.

I stumbled upon this on YouTube. Has anyone seen this build? All Focal Utopia equipment and used real 20 oz carbon through the entire build and interior.

Looks interesting wonder how much he charges and if he makes ones that say ss instead of zl1. Also wonder what he does if you intend on keeping 4 pack gauges.

They made an app for the iPad that connects to a bluetooth OBD Can logger that shows all the Camaro PID gauges. It can also control things like windows and HVAC controls from the iPad.

I like the factory look myself if I was able to keep my 4 pack gauges I'd seriously consider this. But on other hand I just got an android based unit and drained my mod fund for this year already. I'll see how I like the android unit I got and keep this on back of my mind for future mods if I don't like what I got now.

Do you have the android unit installed yet? And which specific one did you go with?

No not installed yet. I went with the one I found in this thread.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=314923

Seems a lil buggy from others posts and experiences. None of the issues would bother me much.

It has capacitive screen, navigation, blue tooth, wifi, external 1tb hard drive to hold music/movies, Cd/dvd player, works with obd2 blue tooth reader so works with torque app. Hoping to control my night owl lights with it. Rear cam, front cam. Even has a cam/mic for inside the car to use video chat.

Not sure if other systems do similar things but I like the looks of this system vs scocshe or metra kits so decided to give this a try

Yeah I know of the installer and shop that did this build. I think it took two months to complete. Cost....well equipment alone would be over $12k. The labor hours to complete all the carbon fiber fabrication work. I know most shops charge between $90-$125/hr depending on your area. Since this shop is in northren VA its gong to cost big time.

He absolutely does quality work. Its the same guy that has done my 2010 2ss and my 2014 zl1 systems. I saw this build in person when picking up my zl1. His work is beyond impressive.

We don't have many installers like that in MD.
