I will be running Aug.11th. Pretty sure i will be instructing Sat.the 10th.But just kidding about running your hot rod,but you should think about bringing it out.I set up a track day with speedventures, and they are giving us a discount, but must sign up by the 30th.

Not really. One track day and mine crumbled along the edges in my hand when I took them off to inspect. These pads don't handle late braking abuse, wrong temp range. I think I only had 2k miles on the pads and it was the first track day with them.

This is why I plan on the CTS-V upgrade! I found a great deal (less than $1800 for rotors, calipers, HPS pads, motul RBF-600, stainless lines, and pin kit/bolts) but they are temporarily out of the left calipers.

HPS won't work for the track if thats your intent. HP+ will melt too if you run hard. Using DTC-30's on the 6 pistons right now but will probably switch to 2 brake pad sets next year. The pads are murder on wheel finishes.

The Hawk DTC compounds are great for track. We run the DTC-30 with ZL1 rotors and the CTS-V calipers up front, with stock rotors and HP+ in the rear. We have a nice special going on hawk pads right now. Feel free to call, PM or email me for more details.

Best regards,

Tyler

I plan on running Cobalt Friction XR1/XR3 front rear on my CTS-V setup. I dont think temps will be a problem.

I run HPS on the street and like them. I fondle the CF pads every now and then cause they cost me a boat load. They are a work of art
