All-n-all, doesn't hurt to ask

The just seems weird... Options, parts, etc... get switched all the time. Why most options are "dealer-installed" options. I wouldn't think they would let that stand in their way of a sale, swap time of sale so that all numbers are matching, or let you sign a legal agreement to it.
When they told me I couldn't swap wheels with another new SS on their lot, it was because a perspective buyer for the other car could cause them legal problems if the car they wanted was supposed to have polished aluminum wheels, but had (my traded) Midnight Silver ones instead.

I think it was less to do with the wheels and everything to do with the hatch/trunk. The entire hatch of the Eclipse needed to get swapped and they said they couldn't swap body panels.

Moving to plan B....I could have purchased a 1SS that didn't have everything that I am used to with my current 2SS and paid more that I wanted to but instead i'll be going to look at a 2014 2SS to lease tomorrow so if I follow through with it, instead of swapping tires, I'll just buy some all year tires and store the performance ones so I can put them back on when I return the lease.

What the heck, I am too impatient to ever completely pay off a car before trading it in anyways. I know that i'll be eye balling a hot new 2017 Camaro in 3 years anyways
