LS3 Oil Filter # and where to get cheap

Guys just wanted to make sure that the LS3 oil filter is an AC Delco PF48? If so, where can I get one cheap BESIDES the stealership ($13)? Thanks for the help.

if you have a NAPA store near you...get Napa Gold #7060...it's made by Wix, which is top notch...will run you around $5. The napa near me also carries AC Delco as well.

Thanks Powerfreak for the response but unfortunately there is not a local NAPA in my area.

You can always order online from Napa...you'll save on sales tax, but have to pay shipping. Maybe buy a few (or anything else you may need) to offset the shipping cost a little.

See if your local autoparts store carries Wix filters...it's the same part # as the Napa Gold...#7060

Yes PF-48 is correct. For the last year and a half I have been ordering stuff like that from a company called RockAuto.com. They have the PF-48 for $5.21. I usually order extra for all my cars at once and pay shipping once!

Absolutely right drtwo. Don't skimp on the filter. K&N or Mobil 1 filters are the best out there.

Smile

I sell the PF48 for $5.27.

I would certainly use the AC Delco UPF48R. This is the Ultra Guard filter with the higher oil burst rate, teflon coated seal and filters down further in microns. I sell those for $8.88 each.
