HELP! Suspension wouldn't re-compress!

So I jacked my car up for an oil change and when I brought her back down the front suspension was about an inch higher than it was previously. WHAT THE HELL COULD HAVE CAUSED THIS! Btw, after a short drive it went back down. Someone please explain.

The suspension just doesn't return to its normal ride height until it is jostled around a bit. Its normal.

Tires were at a different camber angle in the air with the suspension unloaded. Went setting it down, they can't just slide back out across the concrete. That's why alignment racks have pads on bearings where the front tires sit.
