Autobahn CC Full Course with HOD 29 Mar 13

My first track day of the year with my new sway bars, without my new tires, was last Friday at my home track, Autobahn CC in Joliet, IL.

My GoPro has been acting up on me the last couple of events and I need to trouble shoot it but this is at least part of one session early in the afternoon.

I wish I had gotten some of my other sessions because I was one of two 5th Gen's that were there all day and we were surrounded my Mustang's. One was a RouschCharged and another was a 427R supercharged. It felt really good blasting past them knowing they had more HP than me. To be fair, as is typical at most track events, they were really good guys.

Socal, this will show you the line for the Heidts challenge coming up.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

How are you guys getting into the Autobahn CC? Are you members?

I would really like to get into racing there, but the membership fee is a bit steep for me right now.

No, I'm a member of NASA and they are renting it that weekend. They do it a few times a year. Go to there website there is a lot of info about it. You can message me if you have any questions about it.

I do not plan on any track event until Road America May 4-5.

I am waiting on some tires, a harness bar and harness' and to install my toe hook before I get back on track. Most of those are coming in in the next two weeks.

More info on the event mentioned above can be found here,
