Mantic Clutch Shudder & Break In

Just curious those who have experience with the Mantic 9000, how many miles did you put on the clutch before the shudder went away?

I have close to the 500 miles recommended for break in, but I feel the shudder should be completely gone before it is actually broke in. Just wondering how much longer I am probably gonna have to wait till I put it on the track.

I had about 1400 miles on mine when I pulled it out (to put an auto in). It just kept getting better and better. At 1000 it was better than 500. I may all come down to driving style and type of miles. Mine were combined city and highway, but I drive like an old man!!

Thanks for the input, it is getting better and its not really bad, just noticeable. I'm just itching to get it on the track, but I want to make sure its broken in properly so it lasts.

Sent you a PM

Is yours still doing it or did it get better with more miles? I've noticed on mine that right before it grabs it'll have little bit of shudder.. not that noticeable on normal take offs, but when starting from a stop on an incline it can be a little bothersome..

Replied tor your PM, but it has gotten better overall, I am just curious how long I should wait before I take it to the track.
