Difference between Vette and Cammy V flag emblem?

Greetings all, new 2LT/RS owner here, just got her last weekend, and I love my new car.

I want to add V flag emblem on my fender but I like the modern look of C6's V-flag emblem better. I guess the question is...
What's the difference?
Is there a new V flag emblem being work on for the 2010 Camaro?

Are you talking about the Cadillac V-series car emblems? The Corvette emblem is a cross-flags emblem. I can see how it looks like a V, but it's two flags. In any case neither have ever been on a Camaro.

There were crossed flags on the old-school Camaros (1st Gen, maybe some 2nd Gen but I dont think so), but they havent been on them for a while. I'm pretty sure there is not a camaro-specific flag badge in the works. If you like the new Vette flags, put them on your car. After all, it's YOUR car.

It's a V. It stands for V8, at least they put them on the 1967's fenders of the V8 equipped Camaros.

There's a small difference in that, somewhere in the 4th or 5th gen Corvettes, the flags got flipped and have been ever since.

There are some new ones out there on ebay that are pretty close to the vettes, but they have LLT/304 H.P. OR RS/304 H.P. under the flags, they look pretty good IMO. here is a link to their ebay store, http://stores.shop.ebay.com/FlipsGra...34Q2ec0Q2em322 and a few pics of the flags. they are 5 1/2" wide x 1 5/8" tall x 1/16" thick. they have them with a black background too. They are brushed aluminum and have doublesided tape to attach them.

Just to let you guys know... I ordered these same emblems off of e-bay, but of course for my SS (LS3 - 426HP). I received them last night. I must admit, I am a bit disappointed. They are NOT brushed aluminum, they are a soft flexible vinyl with a generous "clear coat" over them. They may be a brushed aluminum "color", but they are not made of any kind of metal. They are "stick-on" vinyl decals!!! Granted, they are very good quality vinyl decals, but still, for the money, I was expecting some "metal" emblems as the auction led me to believe. So, even though I was disappointed, I just spent $57 (w/shipping) on these darn things, so I went ahead and installed them under the "Camaro" on the front fenders. Sorry, no pictures to show yet!!! They don't look bad, but they definitely don't look as good as I had hoped. To be honest, I wish I had gone with the metal '67 reproduction V-Flags like several others have done. I still may do that sometime in the future, after I get over the "kick in the junk" of wasting $57!!!!! Just my opinion, thought ya'll might be interested since you're discussing these emblems.

Later.....

Sounds like the trim badges on my '03 Envoy. They feel sorta rubbery?
