Speaking about some of the colors, I'm getting the imperial blue metallic, and I checked under the Cobalt, and it has the same color available. However, the pics of the imperial blue Cobalt looked much more blue and a little brighter than the Camaro pic... just some quick info.

In all seriousness think about the last time you saw a silver vette driving down the road. Now the silver Camaro is basically the same color. Now look at how dark it looks on your monitor and realize that how much darker your computer is making the colors seem. Some of these are pretty bright colors (think victory red) but depending on your computer they can look fairly dark. (That is actually a really common problem and the reason graphic designers use monitors that cost sometimes into the thousands of dollars to ensure that the colors they see on their screen are actually what will come out in print).

Sorry for the double post, but I could not have said it any better. Computer screen color differences are a real hassle for judging the saturation or tone of anything, especially car colors. Go to any car site and "build your own" and when you go to the color selection, I dare you to tell me "Hey, that's EXACTLY how it looks in person!"

I'm sure all these colors will look a lot nicer in person.

Its not that you are losing 22 hp with the auto, you lose the 22 hp with active fuel management.

As for the fuel economy, I hear ya. I was hoping for 26 on the V8, but it is not to be. Oh well, gotta pay to play I guess.

P.S. Who here can say that the "new" EPA estimates are on the low side? I mean, my LS1 gets over 30MPG on the highway and was rated a lot lower using the "old" system that was supposed to be too generous.

Well I know of people getting 28mpg+ real world with an LS3 (I know of two people with 08 vette's and auto's).

The new epa standard was in theory supposed to be closer to what the average driver can obtain but I think now they are all underrated as a result.

I think your right our navy blue silverado doesn't look much like the color in the computer.Well that made my day thanks. and i would go for victory red for some reason the red fits a camaro great that why my camaro is red.

OMG is that anything like launch control on Lamborghinis??? Where inexperienced racers can hit a switch and get the perfect launch off the line without destroying their clutch??? BAD ASS!

I'm disappointed that there is no Jet Stream Blue Tintcoat option. It looks like Crystal Red Metallic Tintcoat has been renamed and is going to be offered as an option however! (Still want JS Blue though!!!).

I can't wait to see the optional accessories. I'm not satisfied with the small spoiler, and that will need to be replaced. But other than that, I am completely happy.

The HUD looks awesome, and the interior ambient lighting being an optional red or blue (it seems) is completely awesome as well. I'll go with blue!

Hey we found out 3 years early about the new camaro and in 3 years from 2009 wich is the year 2012, camaros 45th annversary, will GM make a speacial 45th annv camaro for that year? like they did in 2002? This is outta topic and should probly be a new thread... but im just saying we found out the new camaro 3 years early couldn't we find out 3 years early about a 45th annv camaro too?

Actually if that red jewel tintcoat is close to the crystal red metallic tintcoat offered on the vette then that will be a sweet color!
