A Jeep SRT8 with NO OPTIONS starts at $60k, can easily get to $70k+. It's the same speed as a BASE WRX for more then twice the damn price. Complete waste of $. Period. -This is coming from an owner of previous Jeep products, they are all the usual overpriced Chrysler products. You think I'm kidding ? 2012 Jeep GC SRT8 2009 Subaru WRX base Sure there are times out there a few tenths slower and faster for both, but they have the same trap and ET given same track conditions, etc. The WRX will come out on top more in the real world though because not all of us live at sea level, the ECU in the WRX adjusts timing and boost for altitude. The Jeep can't do this since it's N/A. The higher up you go the greater the gap will be between both, in colorado springs the WRX should be a solid .6-.8 and 4-5 mph faster. Shall we discuss the aftermarket where the 392's ECU has yet to be cracked as well ? The WRX can run 12's with less then $1k in mods, at any altitude. I'm pretty sure they cracked the ecu on the 392s the other day and the jeep and wrx are two different cars a performance SUV vs a car isn't a good comparison. It's not always about speed my friend. A L99 stock for stock has less hp then a 300 your mods probably just evened it out it should be a good race

Hardly, this is a driver's race, no more complicated than that, both cars run roughly the same times stock, both have similar mods, both are automatics. THis is one of those races that will basically come down to who can launch their car better.
