New Camaro, Transmission acting up

Hey everyone. Got my 2011 Camaro last week with 46,000 miles. Recently I've noticed a slight hesitation when excellerating at low speeds. Like if I slow down around 30 mph it takes a second to go into gea . Its an automatic. And this happens only every now and then but now I'm feeling it a lot more but it might be my head.
Getting the car to the price I wanted I had to take away dealer warranty but I still have factory warranty until 2016. Could this be a big problem or how should I go about taking care of it?
Thanks in advanced.

Might I add I drove it to and from Jacksonville and st Augustine last weekend and didn't have any problems that stood out to m . But I did get my mufflers cut off on Tuesday. Could that be an issue?
