Favorite All Time Concert Intro

I was not there (I was 5) but whenever I hear this start of the Ozzy/Randy live Tribute album I get goose bumps and a little choked up. Then it run right to Crazy Train. Unreal:

Well, I've always like Rush intros. Went to R40 in Boston almost 2 months ago, and found the intro to the second half of the show to be awesome. And, the starts of their concerts are always creative.

Follow this link to the opening coming out of the intermission:

+1... R40 was probably the best concert I've been to yet.

But... any KISS intro is going to be hard to beat! Been the same since I saw them in 76.

You wanted the best, you got the best... the hottest band in the world, KISS!

so many intros the Stones with start me up, Pat Benatar passing out on stage during the third song ( not really the intro but it was the end haha )
i'm going to give it to Paul Rodgers. When Bad Company came on stage Paul went to the mike and said " It smells good in here "

back in the day.

A bit off topic but when I went to hang out on the couch last night the wife had "Grease" the movie on. So here goes.

Sha Na Na, "Those Magic Changes" and I mean this guy can just sing like there is no get out (late 1970's??):

And from a reunion concert in 2013??? WOW!:

I'm biased because Rush is my favorite band. As much as I love those, let me give you a few others that were pretty amazing.

Judas Priest, during the Us Festival back in 1983, had a pretty cool intro which I can't find on video anywhere. Rob Halford rode a chopper up onto the stage before starting the set. This is what followed:

There were a bunch of awesome heavy metal bands that day.

Quiet Riot, Mötley Crüe, Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest, Triumph. Scorpions and Van Halen

Van Halen had an interesting intro as well. The local radio station decided to go backstage into their dressing room just prior to their set. With a video camera. What followed was footage of several band members banging away with groupies. What followed on stage was ok...David Lee Roth, however, was pretty drunk and doing a TERRIBLE job singing.
