SS Brembo Swap to LT?

Im planning on a 2LT/RS, and Im completely happy with the package, minus the fact that the Brembo's only come on the SS package!

Based on what I have read thus far, it seems as though the two platforms will share many of the same components in the suspension. Therefore, I was thinking maybe I could swap in a set of the Brembo's later on when there are some available on ebay, camero5, craigslist, etc...rather than paying an arm and a leg

What do you think?

If you get the RS package on your LT then yes. Not sure about the cars with the smaller wheels - might still be possible.

Might want to edit for spelling.

Anyway, if you get the RS package you'll be able to swap in bigger brakes. I don't know how interchangeable they are but they'll fit in there.

Some folks take offense when you spell the word "Camaro" wrong...

You spelled it Camero

True but there is nothing like the feeling of hauling down a car so fast, you can't figure out how it didn't lock up. It's a very neat sensation.

Precisely

Of course I would need to drive it first, but I love the feel and the look of upgraded brakes/rotors. But if the One Pistons hold up, then there really wont be a point SSmoked

Actually the LT is on the FE2 Suspension and the SS is on the FE3, which may have something to do with it also, i dunno.. maybe.

FE2 & 3 pieces, shock/strut, springs, and sway bars are an easy swap also.

I agree, did that in a C6 Corvette a few years ago. Just hit the brakes as hard as you can. Probably more thrilling than pushing the other pedal as hard as you can. It just seems unbelievable that an automobile can do that with such control.
