SS OEM brake pads/rotors longevity?
I have the standard SS setup with Brembo brakes.
My first set of pads and front rotors wore out around 30000 miles. I'm now at 63000 miles and all 4 rotors and pads need to be replaced. I drive 'spirited' but by no means crazy fast. Is there anything out there that will last a bit longer?? I'm not looking for extra stopping power, just for better longevity. Should I just stick with the GM OEM parts? Are any of the following going to last longer? Bear DecelaRotor DBA 4000 Series T3 EBC Stage 5 R1 Conceps Premium From reading several forum posts, It seems that I should forego slotted/drilled rotors and just stick with the OEM rotors with Hawk HPS pads? Thanks for any input!!

I replaced my OEM pads at 26,000 and there was probably 50% left. I got the Hawk HPS pads mainly because of the decrease in brake dust compared to the OEM pads. They are a great street pad but not the best for autocross/road course stuff. The OEM pads performed better at the autocross, IMO. The HPS pads are great for someone who drives their car on the street (with occasional spirited driving). If you really want to get involved with autocross/road courses, the HPS's are not what you're looking for.
As for the rotors, the OEM rotors are just fine. My car has almost 30,000 and I still have the factory rotors on all 4 corners.
