Maybe it's the angle, but that front bumper just doesn't appear to be an "improvement" for the 2012.

The lower grill opening is completely different, and they still haven't fielded the Heritage Grill as the standard. Why don't the upper and lower openings appear "factory" to me - just looks odd.

Other than that - Kudos!

the front bumper is exactly the same for a V6 model, what's so different about it? this is a V6. they do still have a year before they release these, it could change, but i highly doubt it will change much from what you see here. i don't know why they don't seem "factory" to you because they definitely are

dude the heritage grill is ugly and for a niche audience...please don't force that as the standard now...the heritage grille was meant for a car from the 60's it doesn't jibe with the new interpretation of retro that is the camaro of today...and this grille looks exactly the same to me as the current v6

Same as they've been since Spring '09 my friend.
On the V6 that is.

Don't like the shark fin (it shouldn't even be there at all) and why oh why is there a keyhole next to the bowtie! It looks like it has a wart!

for obvious reasons you dont want the rear seats to fold down like they do in the coupe. thus there's no way to unlock the trunk if/when your battery is dead; therefore why there's a key hole on the trunk just in case (yes, the convertible will be coming with an automative trunk lid opener on the key just like the coupe).[/QUOTE]

Why would I not want the rear seats to fold down? Obviously when the top is down it wouldn't do you want good...but with the top up it seems like it could be useful. I understand that the keyhole would be there if the seats dont fold down but it still looks bad...really really bad....

Love the convertible! A couple of simple fixes before production and GM will have another winner: 1) keyhole (if I remembered correctly, back in 69 you can turn the bowtie to get to the keyhole?) relocation and 2) brake light should be aprt of the spoiler. Another change I would like to see is the huge trash cans (mufflers) replaced with something smaller and out of view. I want mine to be a 2SS/RS with the original hugger orange please...

I think they could hide the keyhole behind a flip-up bowtie emblem.... it's been done before.

Red face

they could have put the keyhole where it is on the C6 vette near one of the plate bulbs are or my preference, under the plate 3rd gen style .
