Water leak near transmission

After parking my 2010 SS and walking away from the car, I noticed a small stream of liquid coming from underneath the car. I dipped my finger in it and it turned out to be water. It is coming from the transmission area in between the cats. I had my a/c on for a few minutes while I was parked. Are there any a/c parts located near the transmission?

The ac usually drains around that area on most cars. Nothing to worry about.

Great! I never noticed any water draining before and thought there was something wrong. Thanks for the help.

Ctrain24,

Sorry to hear about your A/C concern. I would be happy to research any recalls for you if you message me your VIN. Additionally, I could let you know what your options are in terms of warranties as well.

Temperature seems like its always been. I haven't noticed it getting warmer. Just never noticed the water and didn't no the a/c drained near the tranny.
