Hello!
|
When I was at the dealer about 2 weeks ago...I sat down with the ordering manager and he ask me then if I wanted the polished wheels...I even saw them on workbench myself...so I'd say they are there already.
Price was $470 for the option. |

Sorry - thats what I wanted to know -- "If I can order the 20" Polished wheels with the RS package before the orders are finalized." I know Fbodfather had posted that it would be changed but that was a while ago.

Hello!
|
Yes...my dealer ask me if I wanted the midnight silver or polished rims...I said how much and he said $470 extra for polished.
So yes, you can change your order to polished rims now. At least my dealer had them in they system... |

Ok, after this thread, I went to my dealer, which was around 6pm tonight....and the polished wheel option, Q9J, is a NO GO. The system still rejects that option w/ the RS package.
I want to hear from someone who was actually able to ADD this option...I want to see a scan of an order sheet with it added in addition to the RS package. This is getting ridiculous. Sure it shows up on the screen as an option, but you can't click the Q9J and WRS and submit them at the same time....maybe some dealers out there were 'seeing' it the wrong way on their screen? My dealer is going to make a phone call (again) tomorrow and try to see what is going on...I showed him this thread, and he can't understand it. I felt like a complete idiot when I left...I thought for sure this thread was good to go, but it was not. I watched him try to add it on his comp., so he wasn't BS'ing me. Every time he added the Q9J, it would take the check mark off the WRS option.... I hope someone credible can offer some insight on this.

Quote from the email... "In case you didn't know, the Polished wheel option is now on the ordering page in the system (It took a long time to be added). If you bought your car elsewhere, they can CHANGE IT NOW! Blue, has NOT been updated on the page for ordering as of this morning. Thanks for the extra bit of info. But, if it would have been posted in addition to this thread that the change was only available Thurs-Sat. I wouldn't have went in to make this change w/ my dealer today. I know CamaroScotty is credible, that is why I went in w/ full confidence that I would walk out w/ the option added to my order....but instead I left looking like an idiot, or so it felt.
