Let me introduce myself ...
Hi, I'm new here. Read some of the info on this forum before buying two 2014 Camaro's, an SS and a ZL1. They have been ordered and build (as of last week) but still have to be shipped to the dealer. As soon as I get them, you can bet I will post some pics (like you guys never seen a Camaro before, lol) They are both ashen gray, so they will look pretty much alike. The hood insert on the ZL1 is carbon, so no issues of keeping the stock matte black in it's original dull matte condition.
I am 40, and a car enthusiast, like most people here. I live in middle GA and will be exporting both cars back to the Netherlands next year (I am Dutch) As Chevy USA does not cover the use of the car outside US and Canada and Chevy Europe does not take over the warranty (why not, Mercedes, Toyota and Volkswagen do) I hope to get anything that might happen under warranty settled here. Any tips on what to look for are more than welcome. Funny fact: after the delivery we will have 4 cars, and my wifes Mini Cooper S (lovely car by the way) is still the slowest. |

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

Thank you all. My garage outfit is all black and machine washable, so that's foodfight proof.
I'm curious how long it will take GM to get the cars from the factory to Macon, the cars are ready, as I said. I'm not in a hurry, but now that I know they're coming ... well, can't help it, I think that is normal though. |
