Pulled Over In Camaro For Window Tint
I thought they don't pull you over for window tint unless u were speeding or something. The officer was in median facing me then later I see him behind me I don't know how he found me. He followed for like 3 miles then flashed his lights. That's pretty weird but seems they all like to follow u for a bit first. Only got a warning. He said legal limit is 70% and measured mine which came to be 19%. Funny thing is I bought the car with it like that. About 9 months in PA and this is the first problem I've had with law/car. But I guess synergy green camaro so why not pull it over.
He wasn't rude though and complimented the car I think. Also said nothing about the exhaust which is longtube headers and no mufflers

70%? You might as well not even have tint. That sucks! Luckily it was only a warning.

I got pulled over in my Tbird last week for just strictly tinted windows by a CHP on a city street just last week. The more desperate the city's and states get the more pressure they put on the officers for "results"

They follow you for as long as it takes for your plate to be read back to them from dispatch. Gotta know who/what their dealing with.

U have to check your state laws... I've been stop 3 times ticket twice for window tint.

I got pulled over in Oxnard for tint once. Was like 11:30 at night on the 101, and the chp followed me for about a mile and then lit me up.
Pulled me over did a DUI field sobriety test on me, asked me THREE times if I was the owner of my camaro. Gave me a tint ticket and left. He tried telling me "it's correctable, just a fix it ticket so it's like $25 once you take it off." I said "I'll just pay the 200 something dollars, in not taking my tint off." He wasn't very nice (normally every chp I've talked to has been great, even if they're citing me)

Over the years in NY I realized you can have either tinted windows or no license plate in the front never both. Try to get greedy and they will hit you every time for stupid stuff.

This is why I never had any of my cars done, they usually don't pull you over for it but if they do for that or something else they can fine you of make you have it removed. Not worth it .
