First oil change = SUCCESS!

Hello guys,

Just made my first oil change. First time I've ever changed oil on any car lol... so I feel pretty good right now. All the credit goes to the people on this forum who made DIY guides. Those were great.

Nevertheless, I did make a HUGE mess when i took out the Drainplug though @_@ I had no idea it would project so far (even though I was warned). So clean up was a huge chunk of time.

I also let the oil drain for about an hour... is that too long? I ended up just wiping it and plugging it back up because it was STILL dripping.... O_o

The rest was a piece of cake =D

Glad you made it out alive lol. I usually let it drain until it there isn't a stream of oil anymore and just sparingly drips.

It always feels good when you DIY. Now that you've done it once it's like second nature. Great job!

You can NEVER let it drain too much.
Unless it stops dripping COMPLETELY,and that would take many hrs.
