check out the vid. the challenger launches beautifully. though the video doesnt show the time the guy who uploaded it said the 392 ran a 12.44 @ 109. this car is going to be badass!

Wow, what a terrible video. 12.44 sounds a little fast for street tires and 109 mph though. That sounds like what the 2010 srt8 would trap??

that launch was amazing never seen a 2010 launch like that. these 2011s are gonna be great. i think the norm is going to be 12.6s but 12.44 is amazing for this boat.

12.4 @ 109 is hooking extremely hard. That trap is so low for the ET and RWD on street tires. It's either on drag radials or has way better low end than top end. Is it geared shorter than the srt?

^my thoughts too. being that he burned out so hard I am thinking this is with drag radials.

yes they specifically focused on having better low end i believe. they said they also went with more tq instead of pushing for 500hp ppl wanted.

But great for sales, as 90% of folks will only be doing stop light to stop light racing, and all you need is to get a good jump and most folks give up or pretend they wern't trying.

Though street racingis illegal, we all do it when we take off at a light, though may never break the speed limit by 5-10 MPH.

oh how our mighty camaro SS has fallen..lol.. now the only kid we could be beat up the challenger has grown up... Wonder how many " but our camaro is better looking" posts we will hear now....just keeps getting easier for the mustang guys to lol,,

naw u guys got the RT beat for now. but the thing is the challenger has been placed price and power wise smack in the middle between the SS and the gt500. which I think is a good thing
