Lucy- An Aggie's RS

Well I figured it was about time for a build journal for my baby. So here goes!!
Here she is the day I brought her home from the dealer.

Then of course the first thing I had to do was install some thump in the trunk. Ya gotta have a good stereo!!! 2JL W3's with a 1000watt Alpine.

Then came the devil tail side stripes, blacked out back panel and bowties and hood spears. Also added a Flowmaster American Thunder axle back.

Then the heritage grill and a CAI Inc. intake:

The most recent additions are the Havoc side skirts, MTI spoiler and Stillen front splitter. The spoiler is painted to match the red jewel while the splitter and side skirts are gloss black:

Other mods include ABL footwell lighting, plasma DRL's, blacked out taillights and sidemarkers, Trifecta Tune, Chevrolet V-flag, tinted windows, and Weathertech floormats.

I have to cool it on the mods for a bit, got a wedding coming up, but next on the wishlist is a new hood (maybe sinister). The fiance is sitting here and she would like me to mention that she painted my engine and fuse box cover, as well as repainted the V-flag's because they faded like crazy. (Fiance here! - Can we note the INTRICATE details that I PAINSTAKINGLY painted into that tiny little V-flag!! See below for a gorgeous close up!)

Hope you guys like!

I just picked up an MTI spoiler myself. Do you remember if there was any significant body work that needed to be done or was it in pretty good shape right out of the box?

It is going to need a bit of prep work out of the box. It isn't a bad spoiler or anything, it just needs some sanding, nothing major. I will warn you that you might want to let it cure a bit in the sun a day or so. My body shop painted it right after I got it in the mail and the gases released from under the paint causing a bit of blistering. It had to be painted a second time, but since then I haven't had any issues.

Thanks for the tip. Luckily my car is parked until spring so it will have plenty of time to cure. Your car looks great by the way and was the reason that I went with the MTI spoiler.

Thanks! You're gonna love that spoiler once you get it on. I really like those headlight covers by the way.
