Nice run; my personal best bone stock (M6) is a 12.03 @ 120 and my 12.07 at 121.
These M6's are tricky getting out of the hole for sure. They come on strong on the back half. Get your slip in the 1/4 mile thread so I am not the only M6 up there bone stock with a low 12 second time! haha

I'm assuming that 5.0 had slicks? He cut a great 60' but looks like you reeled him in pretty good on the top end. Good job!

I finally ran on some DR's with my Rotofab and finally clicked in the 11's. I ran a 11.99 @ 118.77. I am just glad to finally get it in the 11's. I know I can do it bone stock, but I don't feel like putting the stock intake back in.

If you put on a set of drag radials you will get your 60 foot times down. I have run 11.4 with my manual on my road racing tires, toyo R888's. That was with a 2.08 60 foot time. I have a set of drag radials now but have not got to test them. I had to wait about 6 weeks for the rims to be machined and shipped. I plan to mount them and drive to the drag strip, come home and take them off in my garage. I did a bit of research before the purchase and what I was told was the best DOT street legal combination was a 17" rim (either Weld or Bogart) and the M&H 325 drag radial. Like I said I have not been able to confirm the results. There is a lot of information on drag tires in the ZL1 tire section. Rich Bogart was the one that told me as far as he knew the M&H radial was the best radial on the market right now. It will probably be next spring before I get another 1/4 mile run in, If I can get the 60 foot time down I should be in the 10's. I agree, shifting the car is like trying to tame the beast....lol. Good luck and keep us posted.

I'm really happy to see some good times coming out of these cars. Good job guys! I know for a fact that these M6 cars are capable of 11.7-11.8s in bone stock form with the right driver. If that Ranger guy got ahold of one of our zl1's I guarantee he could consistently run mid 11's.

I think the car is indeed capable of running 11.8s stock, but I don't know if the tires are. I was able to pull off a 1.74 60' on a prepped track in warm weather but I doubt it's possible in cold weather.

Wow you pulled a 1.74 60ft on stock tires?? That's quite impressive! What was your launch technique?

Surprisingly pretty simple. A very quick burnout to scrub the rocks off the tires, then I launched from dead idle. The video is in my sig. It was my first time ever with the car at the track. I guess I picked the best time for my first outing, the car has only gone a bunch of 12.0s since.

Oh ok. I didn't realize it was a auto. That's still a great 60ft and ET!
