1LE Ordered

So I ordered my 1SS/1LE about a month ago but due to constraints my order status is still currently at 1100.

Talked to my dealer today and he said they found a 2SS1LE with alot of the same things I wanted. I have never been a big leather fan and that is basically the biggest difference in the two models.

My question is should I just wait for my order or go with the 2SS1LE?

Does the 2SS have Recaro's...because they are Suede? I would go with the 2SS, just because of the options...plus, you can always get some good seat covers and keep the value of the car up by saving the seats from damage.

Wow, I feel lucky! I ordered mine 3 weeks ago and the constraint came off in 3 days and order accepted. At 3000 now. Talked to my friend at GM tonight and he said still set to build week of 4/28. Sold cars are built first before dealer stock orders so he says it should ship same week. Hope it does not get stuck between Canada and Michigan!

Once you go leather, you never go back.

HUD, Hands Free Phone Bluetooth, BA audio system and 4 pack gauges. Backup Camera I know comes on 2SS might not on 1SS. Those are just some plus the leather is so much better than the cloth.

More is always better. Plus if this other car is availible, there isnt a downside to it. Plus dealer are usually more willing to deal on cars on the lot already.

I have owned both 2SS leather and 1SS cloth. I am perfectly fine with the Camaro's cloth seats. In fact, I think the 1SS is a little quieter with cloth seats and door inserts. No leather smell either. Both come with electric seats driver and passenger.

If you plan to drive the car in cold weather, 2SS leather will come with heated seats - big hit with the ladies...

Neither trim will improve the odds for a scholarship. If money is tight then do the math. Some advise like they have an endless stream of cash flow. Might be different for you. If you think this will be your one and only shot at a muscle car then consider 2SS plus RS.

I have the 1SS now with only two options. 1LE & NPP. 1SS comes with hands free, Bluetooth, USB port, touch screen radio, electric seats, ac, power windows & locks, keyless remote, f & r defrosters and front floor mats.

Popular extras that my 1SS did not come with:
BA (I cant tell much difference)
Camera- Some people really need this. I miss the camera.
HUD - I wanted it bad last time but now I dont miss it.
Backup Sensors - Miss them somewhat, but havent hit anything in 4500 miles.
Night mirrors - drivers and rearview automatically adjust for light.
Garage Door opener - I miss this.
Gauges - I dont have them in this car. It leaves a spot for garage door opener and phone.
RS option - available in both trims. I miss mine and may convert the headlights eventually.

I dont think you'll go wrong with either trim package.

Thanks! I think I'm just being impatient. Actually the wife doesn't care either way as long as she gets her Tahoe sometime this year lol.

I did a lot of research and gave a ton of thought about options and packages. I think I came out with a good alternative to the 2SS with the things I added to my 1SS, and it was less $$.
Just my opinion, and you know what they say about those !!
