Is anyone from Calgary and area going to be able to make the Grey Eagle Car Show on Wednesday? Usually tons of cars, free hotdogs and pop...what could be better? (Weather permitting of course)

Is that the same group that would show at the burger joint on Macleod? What was it called Willy's?

No, this is actually the group from the mall on 64th Ave NE. They moved over to the Grey Eagle parking lot a couple years ago. There is quite the turnout! I believe on Tuesday nights A&W Signal Hill Center has a gathering and Thursdays A&W at Deerfoot and 130 Ave SE.

This is a weekly thing. I like to get there at 6:00PM, get a nice spot and watch all the vehicles roll in. It really is quite the gathering. If you register your car at the tent, they give you a bag with some goodies. Last year we were able to go into the casino and order a couple beers with the numbers on our tags each week.

I will try to make it out to the car show. Its usually a really good turn out weather permitting.

Would love to head to one of these, Wednesday nights suck though as I have to chauffer my daughter around. will see if I can find her a ride....
