Engine management, etc
I had to sell my 5th Gen because my job requires me to tow. So I'm back into a Silverado, but I still miss my 98 SS most of all, so let me pose a question to you guys, and since I'm Camaro-less, have fun with it. Any idea is a good idea.
Here goes: I'm going to pick up a hard top V6 at some point in the future, and strip it down to a shell. Rearend, trans, etc. is already picked out. Power will come from an LSX block/LSX head/Turbo combination. What ECU is necessary for the LSX? Does Painless make a custom harness to run all the lights, wipers, windows, AND engine with XXX PCM? What are the best power steering options? Street/Strip car. I thought about building a Pro Touring car, but there's gonna be too much power going on to worry about turning at speed. Is there a brake system that will run without engine vacuum? There will be no A/C Options? |
