swirls come from washing the car at an auto wash or with a rag/sponge dropped on the ground and not cleaned off very well.

i wonder if they will put a navigation system in there and how it would look and if it might take away from the great look of the interior

In all reality we won't know for sure until Monday. The lower grill in that picture matches up PERFECTLY with that front end and especially with the upper grill.

All in all, if that truly is the production car. HOLY SHIT!!! Much better than I was expecting. I'm still bracing myself for a train wreck with the V8 front end, but I never expected the V6 to look this damn good so maybe GM will make me eat my words on the V8 front end.

Damn. GM....get ready to sell a shit load of these cars. Well done.
Looks good. Have to say that I'm glad there is a difference between the front bumper of the V8 and the V6 now that I look at both..The V8 does look tougher with the bumper camero helped design and I like having the functional hood scoop in the SS version and have it completely removed in the lower versions.. I just wish the side slits on the SS would be real and functional but that is asking a bit much from a non super-car...416 is a great HP rating and will surly knock the socks off of most anything else in its price class and even some that are more...

I disagree. I'm very anal about my cars. I never once took my SRT to a auto wash. Whenever I wash my car the sponge always gets dipped in the bucket 3 or 4 times then wash a small section, rinse, repeat till car is done. Then I use a regular rag on the wheels, exhaust, and calipers.

I still noticed swirl marks on my hood and trunk when the sun would reflect on it at certain angles.

Redline begins at 7000 rpm..so this is v6 engine in it right? And speedometer in km/h. For Europe maybe? So RS is v6 model...or?

owned several black cars and never noticed swirls until after an auto car wash. and it got worse after I took it to one of those band car washes.

I thought we were pretty sure the z28 wasn't going to be available at launch. And yes I know, many are saying it won't be available at all, but I honestly wasn't expecting to hear anything about the z28 on Monday.
