U have to realize that the parts in that pro line engine are the best u can buy and what we used in our 2500 HP engine that revved to 10,000 rpm

Sonny Bryant crank. $4000-5000 nearly indestructible. You can't buy a better crank. Jessel lifters $2000, hogan sheet metal intake $4000, Jessel belt drive $1000-1500. You can see how easily the $$$$ add up. Those cylinder heads alone are $10,000 add Jessel rockers for another $2000, pushrods $900. And on and on we go. If I had unlimited funds I would go proline and get petty to tune.

Really I just need a shortblock as I have badass heads custom built with all the goodies. I had a dragonslayer crank in the lsx and I destroyed everything in shortblock top to bottom including cracking the crank and now going more than double the power and boost I need the best I can get. Taking in consideration timing blew everything up but if your going to have to build a new motor might as well get the best you can.

LRB Performance.

Lou has done all my motors for a long time. He just built us a RHS 436ci that's holding the new Vortech XB110 supercharger @ 30psi and then it has a few nitrous kits on top

You can check out Billy Briggs just outside Detroit, he is very knowledgable of big boost engines. He also was great to work with!

A friend of mine broke a dragon slayer crank like a dry twig with an f2.

I think Dart makes a billet block. Add that to your options.

For that kind of power - Proline, Briggs. Also consider a direct drive setup too for the blower. Will take a lot of stress off the crank.

He is going with direct drive already. His last setup was by belt and it deformed the crank I believe on top of a bunch of other things.

I had BES build the motor to hold up to the power the F3 will make and nothing but top notch components and went with an RHS block and ditched the LSX block this time. This time it will also be direct gear drive as the COG setup was pretty destructive pulling on the crank and when throws a belt even with a guard its pretty violent.

What kind of crank did you go back with?

Not positive which crank it is but know Tony said its way stronger than the dragonslayer crank I had. This motor is built from the ground up inside and out by Tony Bischoff specs which my previous motor was assembled by BES but none of the parts were spec by BES as I had posted about the troubles I had when trying to have motor built by Adkins Performance who screwed me and are out of business now but just another hard lesson learned.
