I was driving down the street (I am in left lane)and in my rearview mirror I saw this silver car speeding up behind me. This guy was driving an excessive speed. I was doing 50 Km's (31 mph) the speed limit he was way in excess of that. Iam going to guess he was doing 80 + to catch up.

He pulls up beside me and slows really quickly and starts checking out my car. So I dont change my speed or anything just keep driving. This goes on way past any other people I have seen do this since I got the car

He then pulls a little ahead looks at front and starts to veer into my lane. I drop back so does he. I pull forward so does he. Again this guy is veering into my lane. I then drop back and so does he. I speed up to try and get ahead he speeds up and try's to stay with me. This continues until the next stop light.

All the while he is doing I am thinking the local PD will think were racing or arguing or something. Drivers behind us are probably thinking WTF are these two doing.

At the light I power down my window (windows tinted on thursday so I shouldnt be) and ask the guy WTF are you doing pulling up on someone like that and then driving like that. He is a young kid (18 or 19) in a Honda civic with a large spoiler. His response was "nice car man, Its really SICK". I was pretty pissed off and by the end of it he knew it.

I know this kid was checking out the car and I have no problem with that but man he was driving like an A$$hole.

Anyone else had an experience with anyone like this ?

Gotta love ricers. My area is HORRIBLE for them and their civics with the huge wings haha

Yes, it happens. You will get used to it. You see them comin up fast then you dont see them, they sit in your blind spot admiring the car. TJ91 and I were out one day and had a guy in front of us and every time he looked back and pointing to his wife he drifted in our lane. You need to be aware of peeps goolgin and be defensive.

This gets soo annoying....but i find people who try to race even more annoying, stupid eclipse the other day.
yep, i remember that day quite vividly Mike, was a great drive though apart from that..
Its always the civics and vws lol
Sigma, my car has 2100 clicks on it now and yet it feels like its lacking power, feels the same as my brothers 05 v6 stang, im just wondering if your car feels really quick or just moderate.
I still have another 400 clicks til its officially broken in.

I get that to here. The worst one so far is a mini van came into my driveway so I thought he was dropping off someone to the house-only he is admiring my car. I was in the back garden at the time and I guess by my expression, he knew I was not pleased so he backed out and left. I am trying to keep my cool but it is very hard!!

To me it has a lot power. My caddy was 208 HP and wifes car has about the same so 306HP rocks in comparison.

I think next Sunday I will be coming out to the show at Fortinos to see your cars.

Same thing happened to me when I first picked up the car. Person beside me, then behind, then right(not really paying attention to traffic). Finally turned off. Maybe thought it was a spaceship or something like that?..

Today... I just had a pack of crotch rockets (about 15 of them) surround my car giving thumbs up on a 5 lane interstate going 65mph. Then one on each side of me starts doing wheelies. Was all I could do to get out of the way in case one of them crashed.

I find the people that pull up in front of my house, get out of their cars and just walk up into my driveway like they own the place and take pictures annoying.

At first it was kind of cool, but heading into month 2 of ownership, I am starting to tell people to please leave my property.
