Turtle Wax ICE question

So I was looking into buying some of this product for my vehicles. I currently use Nu Finish car wax. I was about to leave and pick up some new stuff to try, but whats the difference in the Paste, and Liquid polishes? Does it matter which to get? Also should I get the detailer spray? If so do I use it before or after I wax. Or only use it after a wash that I dont wax?

Thanks

I used Ice on my 4th gen and loved it. It was good for the whole outside of the car. You could put it on the plastic pieces and it acted like a plastic protectant instead of leaving white streaks on it. So you can use thie on the new ss grill and rear diffuser too. The finish isnt the 100% be all end all, but its a great product none the less.

Turtle ice wax is good, I prefer Zaino Z6 spray. Just make sure you rinse your car off before applying it, or at least fully dust it. I prefer to rinse and then dry and apply the detailer spray while the car is still somewhat wet. You get a nice finish and will not scratch the car.

I used a clay bar, then Turtle Wax Ice, then Meguiar's NXT 2.0 eax and I got a mirror finish. It will definitely hold me off until I can get some Zaino, or at least try Zaino.

Hi Bbrock25, I use the liquid polish, make sure your car is cool and use small, small amounts. I do not like TW detail spray - try Meguiars detail spray. Detail spray is for the in between waxes times. If you don't like to wax, TW Ice is the way to go - easy on, easy off. I would much rather spend my time driven them, than rubbing on them!

All of the ice products are great except for their window cleaner. I use all the wash, liquid polish, detailer, and interior cleaner and am very pleased

So can you use the polish on the interior as well?

Ok, I'm washing atm. And I went and got the liquid polish (is this the actual wax? the guy at the auto store said they was just renaming wax to polish so idk.) Do I need to take this off? I thought it was more like a wax that you let dry for so long then take back off. This stuff do you just apply, then let it dry on ? no need to take off? the directions on the bottle isn't very clear on that lol. And I won't need to use the detailing spray since im waxing this time correct?

Thanks again. Sorry for being such a noob about this. Been doing this for quite some time now, but like I said ive only used the Nu Finish wax. put on dry take off etc.

I just use it as a polish.

On my black car I had, I had to wipe it off immediately to get it off. But on my silver car, I just wiped down the whole car, and let it sit for a few minutes while I cleaned the interior or something, then wiped it all off.

I went back with a wax to seal the polished shine it gave me. Try different methods on a fender or something to see which is best for you.

Don't let nufinish touch a Camaro.. it is evil juice (eats clear and paint after that). In my opinion.

I tried the "Once a Year Car Polish", it wasn't very good. Ice is my new favorite polish.

I love the Zaino products. My avitar is my car in the garage after using some zaino cs and grand finale. Note in the pic there was really very little lighting.
